This beast belongs to Fred Fuchs in New Zealand.

Fred is really an enthusiast. He has fitted active suspension from a UZZ32 Soarer, larger wheels, and has even gone to the trouble of fitting a genuine factory roof, complete with electric sunroof.

Fred's most recent addition is a full body kit, styled from the kit fitted to Robert Hayden's car in Australia. He has also fitted the grille, lower fog lamps and rear lamps from a US spec 1997 model Lexus SC400.

Fred designed and fabricated his own patch lead to allow fitment of the stereo system and integrate it with other features fitted to the car.  The genuine rear reversing camera now operates through the Alpine TV, which in turn receives its signals from the standard Toyota TV antennae built into the side glass.  Click on either image to view in a larger format.

Fred replaced the standard Toyota multi-vision touch screen and found that there were a few minor glitches in setting up the A/C unit to the standard Soarer GT controller instead of the touch screen unit, but last we spoke, he had this well in hand.

Fred loves his sound and is into electronics.
He has also modified the stereo system, fitting an Alpine TV unit and multiple CD changers and sub woofer in the boot space.

Good work Fred. We look forward to more updated pics of your car as they become available, 'cause we know you won't stop here. What about the engine??
