He recently picked up this very clean 1992 Sc400 which had been imported from the USA. Apparently the local Saudi Lexus dealers are not too keen to service and maintain this thoroughbred beast, so Rob has to nip over to nearby Bahrain for his servicing. As Saudi is still largely different to our Western society and things are a lot more open in Bahrain, he doesn't mind the occasional service visit across the borders due to the much more liberal attitudes, particularly towards women, nightclubs and Pubs. Keep us posted on any mods that you
make to the car Rob. It will be interesting to note how such a vehicle
fares with the heat and the local roads in Saudi. |
